– Jerud Adams, Vice President
Bish Adams, Founder and President (semi-retired) | Bishop Adams, aka. “Bish,” founded Woodsmith Installation more than 20 years ago – and it has grown into a thriving family business serving clients across the country. Bish’s 40-year career in construction laid the foundation for the thriving business his family runs today. Even in a semi-retired state, Bish continues to lead and mentor our people. His legacy values of quality, value, service, and family continue on as the Woodsmith Installation name transitions into the capable hands of the next generation. Email Bish

Building on a solid millwork career, Rich lines up manpower for Woodsmith installations across the nation – some say fueled only by Hostess snack cakes and Mountain Dew. He’s a woodworker, through and through. But he’s always up for a fresh challenge that involves metal or reclaimed materials. And trust us when we tell you – Aaron Price is the guy you want writing estimates and setting prices. Why? He brings more than a decade of hands-on field experience in construction, remodeling and installation (many of them right here at Woodsmith!), so he knows what’s really needed when it comes to labor and materials at the job site. Quality. Value. Service. Family.
It’s what we’ve been about since the very beginning at Woodsmith.
When W. Bishop Adams (aka. “Bish”), our founder and president (semi-retired), started a brave new venture in 1992, he never imagined the blessings in store. He started with a single client in Delaware, Ohio and grew a solid millwork business.
As Woodsmith grew, Bish invited the very best people he knew to join him, people who would uphold his values better than anyone else: his family.
Bish, together his wife Brenda, son Jerud, and daughter Brandi sustainably grew the business into what it is today – a leading millwork and metal installer for some of the most prominent restaurants, retailers, general contractors and architects in the nation.
When you ask about his success over the years, Bish insists he did nothing but “follow God’s lead.” Today, Bish’s family legacy continues on even in his partial retirement as Jerud and Brandi blaze new trails together in executive leadership roles at Woodsmith.
We’re always growing, changing, innovating – and we’re regularly welcoming new craftsmen, finishers and installers into the Woodsmith family to serve our clients. And when our clients comment on the quality, value and service our people bring to the table? Jerud replies with a smirk, “Oh yeah. It’s how we were raised.”
Family owned, trusted by builders and architects nationwide.
